Amazon Adventure "Aventura amazonas 3/2" A new way to do ecotourism in the Peruvian Amazon jungle. A 3 days and 2 nights ecological amazon tour that will allow you to learn about the Amazon jungle in an unforgettable and enjoyable experience, combining trekking, adventure and many other different activities surrounded by wonderful landscapes. Moreover, you will have a great chance to see wild and exotic animals due to the great biodiversity that inhabits in this region like monkeys, macaws, toucans, etc or just relax doing fishing in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

Details of the program Day 1: Puerto Maldonado -Tambopata National Reserve A staff member will wait for you at the airport to take you to our amazon ecolodge in Puerto Maldonado. There you will be welcomed with a delicious tropical juice from the region. After a short rest you will start a journey by boat to our lodge in the Tambopata National Reserve. Between 3 to 4 hours journey depending on weather conditions. During the boat trip we will have the chance to see different kinds of birds and mammals that live along the river banks of the Tambopata River , such as capybaras, caimans, turtles, vultures, parrots, macaws and oropendolas. At your arrival to the Tambopata ecolodge, the staff will help you to accommodate in your bungalow. Your guide will give you a brief explanation and some tips for your security and comfort during your stay in the Amazon jungle. Then, he will introduce you to the amazon rainforest ecosystems in a nocturnal walk. Just to start, you will have a night walk trying to see some insects, frogs, spiders, tarantulas, moths and exotic animals which only exist in this part of the Peruvian amazon. Day 2: Parrot's Clay Lick - Amazon Adventure Early in the morning we will walk for about 30 minutes to visit a Parrot's Clay Lick near to the Gato River. There, you will see many species of parrots and macaws and other bird species and animals that live in this National Reserve. After that, we will visit a native house to observe how Amazon people live and used the resources of the forest to survive. On the way, we will find a nice cascade where you can swim or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the amazon. After that, we will come back to the Lodge for breakfast. After a short rest we will take a ride on the Tambopata river on a wooden canoe or, if you prefer, on individual kayaks. This activity doesn't require special physical conditions, it can be done by people of all ages. During this adventure, we will enjoy amazing landscapes, watching some birds and the amazon wildlife along the river bank. If the weather conditions permits, we will take a bath in any of the beaches at the Tambopata river.   Lunch. In the afternoon we will start an ethno botanical walk until we reach the swamp area where our "Amazon Adventure site" is located. On the way, we will have the opportunity to see the great biodiversity that the amazon jungle has like exotic animals and giant millinery trees and learn from our guide the hide secrets that the medicinal plants have. Continuing with your adventure excursion, as soon as you arrive at "Amazon Adventure " you can choose the activity you want to do like walking through rope bridges, fish in the swamp or cross it using Zip Lines from 50 to 100m long (from 160 to 320 feet ) which is adapted to different high levels. Or why not, just relax enjoying the beauty of the amazon surroundings. When we return from "Amazon Adventure", we will start another exciting adventure excursion by boat searching for caymans along the Tambopata River at night. Dinner Day 3: River Journey to Puerto Maldonado Breakfast. You will wake up with the beautiful sunrise of the jungle to leave the lodge. During the way back you will still have the opportunity to see wild animals and enjoy the fresh morning of the amazon jungle. Depending on your departure flight you can enjoy our hotel facilities in Puerto Maldonado like the swimming pool or the bar.
