Our bungalows
Situated amidst lushful gardens with a wide variety of flora, our lodge features 19 bungalows inspired by traditional local architecture, thoughtfully constructed using sustainable materials.
Most bungalows offer stunning views of the Tambopata River, while others overlook the tranquil jungle. Each spacious bungalow, approximately 35m², is equipped with private bathrooms and mosquito nets, ensuring a comfortable stay in harmony with nature.
Wildlife and Conservation
Beyond the lodge, a 30km network of well-maintained trails winds through protected primary forest, offering exceptional opportunities for wildlife observation. Every step taken here reflects our deep commitment to environmental stewardship, fostering a respectful and sustainable relationship with the surrounding ecosystem. Over 5000 hectares of protected forest surround Wasai Tambopata Lodge, a testament to our efforts in conservation.

Guests can unwind in our common areas, which include two open terraces overlooking the river. A second-floor viewpoint with a loft net invites peaceful relaxation and a panoramic view, while our large dining hall doubles as a versatile space for workshops and courses. A natural pool overlooking the river offers the perfect escape from the jungle heat, allowing guests to cool off while immersed in nature. The lodge is surrounded by lush gardens teeming with wildflowers, trees, and tropical fruits, providing a tranquil atmosphere for reflection.
The Journey to Wasai Tambopata Lodge
Reaching Wasai Tambopata Lodge is an adventure in itself, offering a glimpse of the stunning landscapes and waterways that define the Amazon. Your journey begins with a land transfer from Puerto Maldonado to the Filadelfia community, which takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. This scenic drive allows you to experience the changing terrain as you leave the city and enter the lush rainforest.
Upon arriving in Filadelfia, you’ll board a comfortable boat for a 20-minute ride along the beautiful Tambopata River. As you glide along the river, you’ll be surrounded by the vibrant sights and sounds of the Amazon, providing a perfect prelude to the natural wonders awaiting you at the lodge.
